Starting from today , student application for Google Summer Of Code Projects is starting. This year i have planned to participate and contribute to open source projects. This is my first Google SoC and i am a little confused about the things. But i am happy that i am sorting things out slowly.
After some intense searching through project proposals given by different organisations i have finally decided to contribute for GNU mailman project. I have never used GNU mailman before . But the reason for choosing GNU mailman is because of the technologies used to build it. Javascript and Python are my strong areas and mailman is built around these two languages mostly.
Today i successfully setup my development environment for mailman. I have been trying to set it up for some days. I have been missing out some elements and now i have successfully completed setting up the development environment.
